Arrival: Get the English custom form (2 copies) on the plane as the ones at the arrival hall are in local language; declare cash brought in. Be prepared to wait as all bags will be scanned by custom.

Want to speed up your departure? Nothing much you can do unfortunately. But be sure to take a few extra customs forms upon arrival. Having those filled out beforehand helps... a bit.

If you are a foreigner, best is to have an agency arranged visa help - they will send someone inside the restricted zone to guide you to the right places. Except zero help from the airport staff.

Money Exchange is immediately left after immigration. Taxi counter offers 40,000 uzs rides. Bus #67 a good option too for 1400 uzs. Insanely inflated prices once inside the terminal
