Very nice airport. Free wifi in all terminals as long as you sign up with one sponsors. There is a row of rocking chairs where you can recharge your phone or plug in. I also liked the rolling carpets

For a great & cheap Southern meal or all day breakfast, stop by Bojangles at the end of Concourse B. Great biscuits, fried chicken, dirty rice and sweet tea! Sweet tea up on the rocking chairs b/w B&C

If you are looking for a place to grab some quick zZzZ's check out the flat benches by the window in B8, all other benches have arms so you can't sprawl out but these two blue benches are hidden gems!

If you're not comfy with restroom attendants, use the "family" restroom. My experience is that they're usually empty b/c families aren't using them so they're a breeze to get in and out. Just FYI :o)

Nice airport. Easy to make your way through. Lots of yummy food choices and the rockers add a nice southern charm.

If you have a long layover, take a peek at Charlotte-Douglas' public viewing spot. Watch planes take off, land, and taxi to/from the runway at one of the best airport views in the U.S.
